Adrian Dilworth  BSc (HONS) DO. IIST

Registered Osteopath

Adrian’s osteopathic career has included developing clinics, operating in two GP medical practices as well as liaising with GP's, nurses and health visitors.

Treatment is mainly a structural approach using soft tissue techniques, articulation, manipulation, harmonics and neuromuscular techniques.  Assessment includes foot bio-mechanics and postural anomalies with intention of long-term influence on the musculoskeletal mechanics.

Adrian has had training in the ‘cranio-sacral’ field to assist in the treatment of babies and children.  In addition to this he is a qualified sports and remedial massage therapist.  A firm belief in rehabilitation by the patient is encouraged, which includes advice on posture, lifestyle, diet, nutrition and exercise.

Adrian is currently a lecturer at the University of Surrey (Institute of Osteopathic Medicine) teaching osteopathic technique.

He previously had a career as a pharmaceutical agent that involved many aspects of the sales environment, gaining experience operating from a field base and also from a marketing and administrative perspective.  This work also included promotional campaigns, negotiation skills, execution of key accounts and training.

Adrian also recently successfully completed a dry needling course in acupuncture.

Adrian is available at The Putney Clinic on Tuesdays, as well as Thursday and Friday afternoon and evenings.
