Lenka Benesova RCST

Massage Therapist

Lenka is a massage therapist and registered Craniosacral therapist that specialises in musculoskeletal medicine and soft tissue technique.  She qualified as a Physiotherapist in the Czech Republic in 1993 and has over 13 years experience in both Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy.  She successfully graduated from Craniosacral Therapy School with Michael Kern at CTET in London in 2009, and is a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association.

She specialises in Therapeutic Massage and Craniosacral Therapy, and finds that a combination of both therapies can compliment each other extremely well.  Each treatment is tailored to the client and all treatments involve an initial consultation about medical history and the clients’ expectations.

Therapeutic Massage uses a combination of deep tissue, sports massage and advanced massage techniques. (Especially trigger point therapy, soft tissue release and neuromuscular techniques). Working intuitively with slow deep release allows the body to slow down and relax.  These methods can be successful with clients that have chronic pain, tension and stress, who require deep massage combined with a therapeutic approach.

Craniosacral Therapy can resolve a wide range of issues from physical injuries to emotional traumas, and has the potential to restore health, improve general well-being and strengthen vitality.  Lenka believes in a holistic approach and that many musculoskeletal problems are stress related in some way.  Craniosacral Therapy can be a very effective way to help the body to balance and heal itself.

Lenka is available at The Putney Clinic on Wednesday afternoon and evenings, and also on Saturdays.
